Cosy, two-storey cottage with large living area.  The cottage is over 100 years old and is situated in the heart of the sleepy village of Dromahair.

Completely refurbished in 2006, the cottage includes lounge with wood stove. Large kitchen/diner opening out onto south facing patio with garden furniture accessed via French doors. two double bedrooms and large bathroom. Oil central heating with  €25 fuel supplement September to May, bed linen and towels included in rent, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, shower over bath, radio and TV. Street parking. Sorry no pets.

Situated 12 miles away from Sligo city, this delightful cottage is ideal for relaxing. Sit reading and relaxing soaking up the sound of the river enjoying views over an ancient wood. The surrounding area offers good hiking and climbing, golfing and exploring the surrounding countryside. Historical Dromahair village is in the centre of Yeats country. Lough Gill is 2 miles away known for the lake Isle of Innisfree. Benbulbin is 15 miles away as well as the beautiful lakes and waterfall of Glencar. Explore the mountains or walk the long sandy blue flag beaches of the Atlantic coast, Streedagh strand, Rosse's point or Strandhill. Visit Lisadell house where W.B. Yeats frequented or shop in Sligo city.
